Game Designer in Residence - UCI Staff

Playable 3D Demo for Museums & Grants

Responsibilities:

  • Oversaw & unified creation of art, code, and story produced by staff and students

  • Taught students in High School and University game creation process

  • Met with historians from Ghana and United States universities

  • Interpreted cultural history into game designs for US students in middle grades

  • Worked with US Common Core curriculum standards to produce game elements and supplementary lesson plans

Hippo Time

Game Designer in Residence - UCI Staff

Medical Therapy Game Prototype

Responsibilities:

  • Oversaw & unified creation of art, code, and story produced by staff and students

  • Taught students in University game creation process in extra curricular independent study setting run similarly to a video game studio.

  • Worked with medical professionals to meet therapy needs for young patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

  • Directed game to be accessible to those with sensory needs

  • Prepared game for submission to formal medical testing
